1.9 million cards

The idea for fetchbot began with founder Darren Davison’s collection of 1.9 million M:TG cards. Faced with sorting his monster collection by hand, Darren believed there had to be a better way to sift the golden nuggets out of his collection. Once a game store owner, Darren was well acquainted with the problems fellow store owners experienced. The time, expense and knowledge necessary often forces store owners to tediously sort cards instead of running their business.

With the help of fellow engineer and software developer Chris Viehoff, the dynamic duo created fetchbot, a robotic card sorter. It can sort up to 18,000 cards in a 24-hour period, literally overnight. The automated card sorter uses robotics to sort large collections which makes it faster and easier to turn inventory into profit.
